Interesting 'Right Click' Issue

OK I have run across an issue that I can't find any info
on. Just recently this issue has developed.

When I Right Click on a video file (avi mpg wmf, etc) any
video file at all - my screen will flicker to black then
come back up with the right click menu as if nothing
happened - flicker is less then or right at a second in
duration

It only happens on video files -

Running XP Pro on a 2500+ Athlon Pro with 512

Have updated my GForce drivers, done all the scanning and
system maintenance - I can't pinpoint the cause as yet.

Hi Michael,

It has to do with how Windows XP previews files when opened with Explorer.

Automated Edit: This edit prevents high usage when browsing AVI files.

Same here. Kelly's Line 74 tweak didn't help I'm afraid.

Actually I think it is my 64 MB nVidia card. I've tried the card in two
computers and the right click glitch happened on both computers. It's not a
big deal.

Last night I installed the latest drivers but it's still the same.
