intellipoint software

Just about to rebuild and was wondering if there are still issues with some
of the intellipoint software and xpsp2?
I have a natural keyboard pro and an optical Intellimouse, on windows
downloads there are several versions of the software available: ITP5,
ITP5.2, etc. Am I best sticking with my old tried and trusted ITP2.2 or
upgrading?
Any views helpful!

I don't have the keyboard, but have a wired ms optical wheel mouse and a ms
standard wireless optical mouse and both work fine with version 5.2 and sp2.

Hi Moon - Your system can be very sensitive to having the exactly correct
Intellipoint software for the specific mouse you use. Go here and do the
selection process (Carefully!):
