I have been working on slipstreaming a version of XP Pro
with all the new updates. Everything works good until
about 27 minutes point of the GUI install phase. It
brings up an error box of which this is an excerpt.

"Invalid program arguments were specified.

/i: <master_oc_inf> required"

I believe I have tracked it to the sysoc.exe. I'm trying
to find out why it's being called by the installation and
erroring now while it hadn't been before. It had worked
on the first few versions fine. If anyone has any tips,
suggestions, or question please drop me a line. Thanks.

I would be very interested in what method you used to get
as far as you did with slipstreaming updates. I keep
being told to slipstream only the SP's and then use
qchain to call each patch. I want them self-contained on
CD, since MS won't release SP2 for over a year and
there's already tons of patches.

Anyway, Google produces the following on your error, but
not sure it helps:

And on the second, I wonder if the best clue is the line:
sysocmgr /i: %windir%\inf\sysoc.inf /u:c:\ocm.txt
/i:=path to sysoc.inf
/u:=path to unattended answer file
