IE6 not starting

Similar to Rick, since installing critical update KB832894
I have had IE6 problems. I normally start IE which dials
my ISP, now IE refuses and on investigation, it always has
a tick against "Working offline". Removing the tick lasts
as long as the next attempt to dial up. I now get online
via Outlook Express then call up IE which now operates
correctly for my online session. What has Uncle Bill and
his merry men been up to?
 
Same here. It started Friday, 2/13, evening. I've used
the latest versions of AdAware and Spybot to no avail.
What's happening?

I'm using dial-up and XP, but tried the Microsoft
solution your link pointed to anyway. It doesn't work
for me.
 
same here what is up no virus no spywere???? cant get it to
load and it will run as a guest but that does no pknow good
for me
