IE6 Error

IE6 is continually shutting down with error "MIE has
encountered a problem......." - Error appears to be in
msvcrt.dll according to error signature.
Have reloaded MIE 6 and all SP 1 updates. Am running
windows 98 and have loaded all updates. Cleared down Temp
files, cookies etc but keeps reoccurring. Am using
BTBROADBAND.Outlook works OK.

Any one able to help?
