IE unexpected shutdown

The internet explorer browser shutdown every time after a
momentary displayand load.
I tried to uninstall and reinstall and issue remains.
Installed XP SP2 to correct issue but no fix.
Looking for options.

SP2 does not "fix" problems that are already on your system.
