IE 6 error problem when logging onto bank/ebay sites

Hi,

I have a problem with internet explorer closing down when
i try to log on to ebay or my bank page, the following
message 'Mcrosoft Internet Explorer has encountered a
problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience.'and error report send option is given then
IE6 closes down.

I can browse as normal until i try to log in. i have
updated IE, virus and adaware but with no success. Any
help or suggestions would be appreciated.
