ICS...PLZ plz PLZ plz help me!

I am running windows xp prof. on the host comp and jst installed windows xp
home ed. on the other i can c both computers fine and access everything
appart from the internet from the client comp. i have run the setup wizard
from the host then used the disk to insatall on teh client. ive enabled
internet connection sharing, but nothing. i am with freeserve broadband
(wanadoo) i run a wired network using a crossover cable from 1 NIC card tot
eh next. any other info needed plz ask...its so annoyin i really need it 2
work!!! any hep MUCH appreciated!!

Any firewall installed on the ICS host? If it's anything other than the XP
one you may need to add your LAN subnet to the Trusted Zone and/or reduce
the Internet Zone setting to Medium rather than high.

ive got zone alarm running on the host, not sure if i gt 1 on the network
tho.....

Then if it's the free version you'll need to follow the steps I mentioned
earlier. The free version doesn't support ICS without those changes. I
guess you're also running the most recent version (5.5.062.004)?

thnx 4 all ur help m8...but i decided to just make it all easy n buy a cheap
router, it cost me £25 and it workd strate away, soz 2 waste ur time....thanx
