I E 6 UPDATING

can someone please tell me why if I try downloading this program from
microsoft website I have no problem downloading, however when setup tries to
install the files I get the error message this software has not passed the
windows logo compatibility test and will not be installed, I thought that I
E 6 was a microsoft program so why should I get this type of error message
meanwhile each time I reboot I get the IE 6 resume setup which cannot load

Go to microsoft.com support site and find knowledge base
article 828031 and follow the instructions. Hopefully,
it will help you. However, I have a similar problem and
it did not fix mine.
