I'm extremely new to Access and have just made a simple table for contact
details and a form. However, I cant see all the records included in the table
(for now 12). When I visualise the form, i can only see records 1 - 9.
What do I need to do?
Thanks

AJ,
Not sure I understand, but...
Add a Vertical Scroll Bar to your form (I'm assuming it's a continous form).
Use the Scroll Bar to scroll down to see all the records.

at the bottom of the screen, there's the Record thingy with the arrows to see
next/last record and to add a new record, but it wont show me any records
after 9.
(Sorry, I'm not sure I know what a continuous form is: i've only followed a
couple of the simpe on line training/practice courses before I started to get
confused...)
Help much appreciated.

AJ,
Using the Navigation buttons on the bottom of the form ("the Record thingy") when you
go to record 9, does the Nav indicate Record 9 of 9?
If so, that's all the records there are.
What is the RecordSource for your form? A table or a query?

Sorry for my lack of technical jargo! The Nav indicates record 9 of 9. It is
based on a table, not a query (havent got as far as them yet). In the actual
table I can see 12 records though. I had a play around again last night and I
have another form, which I made during one of my many attempts. Then I
abandoned it for this new one. All my records show up in this old form! Maybe
it's impossible for you to know what i've done, but i really appreciate your
patience and help.

AJ,
9 of 9 indicates that it is displaying all the records, so I really can't tell what is
limiting the records returned. Especially, as you say, when the form is based on a
straight table.
I can only speculate that you may have had a filter applied to the records, and that
later when you returned to the form the Filter had been lost.

If you're OK now, we'll put it down to "Access Poltergeists" :-D

AJ,
If you want, I'll take a look at it for you... on "if I can get to it" basis.
Zip and email it to me via my website below (via Contact).
Make sure you put "NEWSGROUP" in the email subject.
In your note, tell me what version of Access, and exactly what table and form are
involved.
