How to type a Legal Lease Document with columns

I am trying to set up a legal lease document that was in Wordperfect into
Word. This document has columns and I can not figure out how to make the
columns flow from one page to the next and stay in the correct column on the
following page.
 
It sounds as if what you need may be a table rather than newspaper-style
columns.
