how to set/activate incoming mails

Using Outlook Express in my win xp, would like to set a sound or an icon that
would tell me that I have an incoming email. Any ideas please advice, thanks

It's in tools/options/general in the main menu.
 
In additon to Uncle Marvo's response, you may have to go to the Control
Panel and click on Sounds and Audio Devices, scroll down to New Mail
Notification and point it to some wav file.
