How to limit the number of posting retrieved in Outlook Express?

Hi. How to limit the number of posting retrieved in Outlook Express? I have Outlook Express installed at home. Then connect to my ISP. Then subscribe to a newsgroup. At this point the system tries to download all messages for this newsgroup from the ISP server, and there are over 5,000 messages going all the way back to last year. But I only want my Oulook Express to download messages in March and later of this year, ie. the last 2 months. Sometimes it would be nice to limit to a fixed number, like the last 1000 messages. I know I can download headers only, but I'd like to download everything -- but only that which is very recent. Is there a way to do this? Thanks.
