Hi ALL,

does anybody know how to hide information on unread emails that appears on
Windows XP logon Screen?

Thanx

Download powertoys from the Microsoft site > install > go to login > unread
mail tab > disable it > click apply.

Thank you,

but it works (may be) with US-English regional settings only. Additionally,
what the part of PowerToys does that thing? TweakUI? But that requires
Windows XP Service Pack 1 or Windows Server 2003
I have localized version :-( ...
Any advice to do that per hand?

Thanx

Actually? Yes I do...

Well, no - I don't - Kelly MS-MVP does...

http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/unreadmail.reg

That should clean it up for you...

Not a problem, by the way - just one of these threads would have been
adequate - for future reference. But glad I knew about Kelly's site and was
able to help point you there. Remember, you'll need to log off (of course)
to see the changes. That's pretty obvious with this one though.
