The question has been asked many times over about error 1303. I have yet to
see a "how to" solution to fix the problem. Otherwise I will be forced to
return my brand new software package back to the retailer : - ( The last
four posts sidestepped the problem altogether. Please help me someone out
there ...

Hey Bob,

It is the new Quickbooks 2007 program. After I posted this I found some
helpful info throught the "Ask Jeeves" search engine and found some helpful
KB articles about "How to take Ownership of a File or Folder in Windows XP."
I am going to try those out and see if they work. By the way, I am using
Windows XP Home Edition.

If it continues to not work after you have set the
permissions/ownership, you may want to check with Intuit support about
other possible causes.
