Hi, I have a bunch of HDD's. I want to determine which of these is an
ATA-100 or ATA-133. Is there some software that does this or does XP tell
this information? I suspect that BIOS / post will tell me. But i dont know
what to look for. I own HDD's from several manufacturers including maxtor &
seagate.

Thanks in advance!
Alan

Just cross check the devices model # on the vendor web site. All
vendors usually have .Pdf specification sheets on the drives. If they
are installed, the Primary, Secondary controller Advanced info will
usually display the operating mode.
Device Manager's disk drives category should show you the vendor
and model number information.
