How do you include a value from a cell in a chart?

Hi
Possibly quite a simple question but I cannot figure out how to do it.
I have an Excel spreadsheet containing just two sheets. The first
sheet is updated daily by manually copying/pasting a column heading
row then below this entering data into the various columns for that
day. This is completed in the final column with a total of all the
previous columns. On the second sheet is a bar chart of the day's
updated data. If I include the total column in the chart it makes the
chart unreadable as the graphs vertical axis contains too much
information. So what I would like to do is to just include the data
from the total cell from 'Sheet one' in the charts title or separately
below the chart, either option would be fine. I would like this to
happen automatically not forgetting the total cell from 'Sheet one' is
in a different position each day.
Thanks for your help if this is possible.

Hi, Johno !

one [possible] way [in the sheet with the chart]
- use a cell to 'take' the data from the 'other' sheet [this cell could be 'under' the chart if nothing else in the sheet]
- insert a textbox [any place] in the chart
- type '=' [in formulabar w/ textbox frame selected] and click the cell [with data to 'show-in'] and press 'enter'
[textbox remains linked to that cell, which is linked to 'total data' in the other sheet]
apply custom format to textbox, and... ;)
