How do I rename notes in Outlook?

I wonder why is this such a hot topic this week...

notes don't have title fields - it uses the first line as the title. to
rename it, type the text you want for a title at the very beginning of the
note and press enter.

I tried that. When I change the first line, the name changes, but quickly
changes back to the previous name. I think my Pocket PC, which is connected,
changes it back after a second or two. I determined this by watching
ActiveSync during this process. I change the first line in Outlook,
ActiveSync syncronizes the note and the "name" reverts back to what it was
previously. Perhaps this happens because PPC actually names the note.

Thanks,
Matt

Notes on a PPC are actually separate files and, ence, can be renamed. Notes
in Outlook are not separate files.

If you rename a Note on the PPC, when you sync it should change the title of
the note in Outlook. It does for me.

Disconnect the ppc and try it, it should work as long as you don't have
active sync set to always use the ppc version.
