Hello all,

I want to create an account where the user cannot open the
start menu and cannot right click on the task bar,
background or system tray. Does anyone know a good way to
do this? Thank you in advance.

If you are using XP pro or win2k then you can use the mmc. Type mmc in run
and the console will appear. The file-.add/remove snapin You need to add
group policy. From here you can make chnages that will lock your computer
down. These include removing access to C drive and any other drive of your
choice, disabling DOS, removing run command etc

Hi, thank you for your help. Is there something I can read
to get more information about MMC? I tried what you
suggested however i was unable to accomplish anything
beyond adding and removing active x controls to the start
menu. I was unable to figure out how to actually remove
access to the start menu, and right click functionality,
etc. If you could elaborate or point me at a resource
with more information, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
