I would like to know how to put a password on my home
computer so that my son can not get on the computer unless
i am at home. We both have accounts set up and he knows
how to go in and change his password. I would like a
password that would come up when the computer is turded
on. Is that a possibility and really would appreciate any
help that i can get.

Kathy;
You want a BIOS password.
Reboot the computer.
Before Windows it will say something like "Press ** to enter set-up"
Common keys are F1, F2, Esc, Delete and others.
Once there, look for Password, search the various tab.
Check your motherboard/computer manual for details as this has nothing
to do with Windows and each manufacturer does it a little differently.
