how do i email a photo please

hello, i am wanting to email a photo i have in my pictures. i use yahoo
for emails and use internet explorer to get to yahoo.
i have tried to use the email this file in my pictures and there is no
place for me to type in the email addy i want to send the photo to.
i even tried just clicking on the photo and clicking on copy and then
tried to paste the photo on my yahoo email compose but it didn't work
either.
i have an outlook express email account also but do not use it.
can someone please let me know what i am doing wrong?

Is there a "paper clip" you can click on to attach a file in your Yahoo mail?
If so, click on it and find the filename you want to send. There should be
something that says you can attach a file this way and it's usually a paper
clip.

Compose your Yahoo! mail as you normally do. Then click on the ATTACH
FILES button.

To the right of the "File 1" field click BROWSE, and browse to your image
on the hard drive. Preferably it should be a .jpg - a reasonably sized
file (less than a few hundreds kilobytes) that is suitable for mailing,
but various image types are processed by Yahoo!. Double-click the image.
Several images can be attached in this way.

Click ATTACH FILES. On the next page, scroll down and click the DONE button.

Send your mail. Then read Yahoo! HELP files for more information.
 
In addition to the earlier advice (attachment), install the Yahoo! mail MAPI plugin in to launch Yahoo directly from Common Tasks "Send Pictures...email)
