How do I direct outbound messages to a folder other than the Sent

I know years ago there were command you could imbed in outbound email such as
routing the message to a given folder like - .lf question - would cause the
message to be put into the question folder.

Is there such a facility in Outlook?
 
Outlook has Tools/Rules and alerts that alows you to do that based on
specific words in the subject line
 
Thanks, looks like that will do the trick or at least I can make it look like
a command.
