How can i replace outlook.pst file

I have corrupted my outlook pst file and cannot replace it by uninstalling
and reinstalling office XP. Even if i manually remove the file and backup
office does not create a new one on reinstallation.

Rename it to .old and when you next open Outlook, you will be prompted to
create one.

After it is renamed .old can the contents be exported to another archive.pst
file?
I ask because I've got to combine several old archive files for many users.

No pst has to remain with pst extension. Simply rename to
WhateverArchive.pst. Open the Archives in OL and copy to whichever. If you
import dates will be changed - maybe important.

The size doesn't matter. Where are you trying to open this file FROM?
And please in future do NOT piggyback on someone else's thread - start a
new one.

You've posted 5 msgs within the space of 10 minutes, on the same subject, if
you want to chat go find a real person

If you want an answer to your problem respond to this post with full details
of the circumstances in which this happens, together with your version of
