How can I map my templates in Excel (using 97 version).
I can do this in Word under Tools and Options, but I can't find this same
function in Excel.

Thank you.

What exactly do you mean by "Map Templates"?

Are you perhaps talking about the Path to the file locations?

NOW, are you talking about "User" templates on a single machine, OR
"Networked" or "WorkGroup" templates on a server?
AND ... are these templates accessible from the <File> <New> folder?

Networked templates on a server
Accessible from the <File> <New> folder

Thank you for your response.

Right click on the template name in the <New> folder.
Click on "Properties".

Click in "General" tab for the path to the template location.

*HOWEVER* ... If you *also* see a "Shortcut" tab, that means that the
*actual* location of the template is *not* in the Templates folder.
The "Shortcut" tab will list the path to the actual template.

What happens here is that the template is saved and revised and/or updated
from a folder convienant to the creator, and it's (template) linked
(shortcut) to the Template Folder so that it will be accessible to all
machines on the server.
