HELP! Win Explorer and IE crashes

Every time I click on IE explorer it crashes and wants to
restart then crashes again. If I click on My Computer or
any file folder my desk top goes blank then restarts.
 
Install the latest version of IE (6 sp1) this will update
the current browser version and overwrite the suspect
files. Otherwise install browser www.mozilla.org.
