Can see it in the start menu, clicking it gets a quick
hourglass flash - then nothing happens. Services
indicates that it is functioning properly, as well as the
RPC file that it depends on. I have:
1)Reinstalled XP Pro OS three times (plus all those
updates).
2)Reinstalled the help and support files from cd twice
(HCAppRes.dll).
3)In comand prompt entered "sfc /purgecache"
and "sfc /scannow" to check for corrupted system files.
Nothing showed up or was indicated.
