Along a similar line, I wonder what results one could achieve with a
font-making program. I've not worked with one, but I wonder if you can
specify colors, use graphics, etc., then use that user font in the header
or footer (since the font is selectable there). Anyone tried it?
Your color is still limited to black whether you use existing fonts, buy a font,
or make one of your own. Fonts can only be one color at time. Some
font making software can be located by searching for typography or
and some that were viable years ago can be seen at http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/logoshd.htm#alternatives
what once was limited to graphic arts departments, font foundries,
and publishing software can now be done by anyone so you might want
to do your own search for font creating software. But you are still limited
to black in the actual headers and footers.
Use of the top rows of the spreadsheet makes for a lot more possibilities.
