I had a wireless keybaord but it was annoying me, so i shut down unplugged it
and replaced it with a normal standard keyboard. Now, when i boot up, windows
just freezes on the XP Loading screen. I did a system restore through Safe
Mode and it then booted as normlal. Now, again this morning, it freezes on
the loading screen.Any Ideas?

Please Help.

Nathan.

Hi, Nathan... if you didn't "remove" the k/b prior to swapping them out, the
system's still typing to load the wireless k/b each time you boot.

Right-click on "My Computer", Then select "Properties".
Select the 3rd tab, "Hardware", and then select "Device Manager".
In the "Device Manager", find "Keyboards"... epxand that (click the "+") to
expose the keyboard.
Right click that, and "Scan for changes", or "Uninstall" and then reboot...
either of these should lead to a search for better drivers. You can also go
into "Properties/Drivers" from that keyboard entry, and search from there.
