I have a second 60GB hard drive and it says I have only
7GB left, I had a good clearout deleting more then 30GB,
I empted the recycle bin and re-booted and did a de-frag
but it still says I only have 7GB left, any idea why this
is?

Are you using Norton? Empty the Norton "protected recycle bin" also.

Do you have a scanner attached, I did this on a friends
computer and used the highest resolution possible and it
used the entire HD to create the file, DOHHH,. It took
about 30 minutes to delete the file.
I Hope this helps.

I've noticed that with some computers, that info doesn't refresh properly
until you reboot.

Also, if you've got Norton, make sure you clear the protected recycling bin
as well.

also,
the swap file can dynamically expand and capture the space once occupied by
files.
