Hangs on Standby

Somehow I've lost my hibernate button on the "Turn Off Computer" screen. When I click the "Standby" button it goes to the usual "preparing to standby" mode then nothing happens. The mouse cursor still moves around but it's otherwise hung-up. Ctrl-Alt-Del, Esc, Ctrl-C, nor any other key strokes have any affect. Help!

As for your Hibernate problem - you already are holding SHIFT down on the
Shut Down screen, right?

If you are and Hibernate still does not appear, go to Control Panel \ Power
\ Hibernate tab and make sure Hibernation is still enabled.
