If so could you come up with some guidance on following:

5 of the Best

Sight seeing
shopping (general)
shopping for Music (cd's, LP,s, DVD)
Shopping for hifi

Thanks for any input anyone can give :)

Saying 'take your camera' to Quad is like saying 'don't forget to breathe'! ;)

Scotland is a beautiful place, I look forward to seeing some good pics in the gallery after your visit. How long are you staying? Ian and I will be just north of Perth on 2nd April, so I'll try and get some good pics too.

:D

Sorry I can't recommend anything on your list, I've never been to Glasgow, but I can strongly recommend the Scottish scenery

Sorry to disappoint you folks its not me going there, at least not yet. If I was really going there I would have mentioned it in my message. My cousin has just landed there and she needed some pointers. I am sure she will be checking this thread as I had sent the link to her.

Thank you all for the tips.

I certainly will pay her a visit but not sure when, if I do I will drop by in Manchester as well as London, maybe meet you guys finally.

PS When I am visiting I will be breathing through my camera for sure :D

Glasgow's a great place and quite lively after dark :)

Nice shopping centre and some interesting museums, if museums are your thing.

Friendly folk as well, certainly friendlier than London peeps :D

Loch Lomond is beautiful, I drove all the way round it, some staggering scenery.

And there's a wildlife park similar to Longleat halfway between Glasgow and Edinburgh, which isn't far, they probably do coach trips.

Other than that, I know not a lot about Glasgow ;)
