I have installed IIS with the Windows XP on PC. I have published web to PC. What will I be able to do with the IIS installed on PC that I could not with Windows ME? Hit counter will not show-- get message that it must be published to server with FrontPage extensions. Are there other things that will now work on PC that would not work before and what

Thanks for information
Susan

You must publish to and open the site under http://localhost at all time via
FP, and then to test in your browser as well.

Thank you! I see the light! The two books I have on
FrontPage 2002 don't mention XP but I found reference to
localhost for PWS. I got it published and now I will have
fun learning things without having to try it out on live
website.
