Hi! I was looking for something in my Add/Remove folder and found a program
called eShopper. Can someone please tell me what this is? I looked in
micosoft index and didn't find anything listed and nothing comes up when I
right click it. I tried to remove it and my Norton showed it tried to
connect to the internet, which I blocked. Now I can't do anything with my
add/remove file, it won't close or anything.
I will appreciate it if someone can please advise me about this.
Thanks!

Hi

Seems as though eShopper is an 'Online Shopping and Business Guide'.

Try running the following programs to check for any spyware that may be on
your system:

Spybot - http://www.safer-networking.org/
CWShredder - http://forum.aumha.org/downloads/cwshredder.zip
Spy Sweeper - www.webroot.com
Ad-Aware - www.lavasoftusa.com

Try SpyWareBlaster to stop intrusions:

Also see the following links:

http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

Have you also virus-checked your system with the latest definitions for your
AV program?

You installed it when you installed "Scenic Reflections" desktop wallpaper.
This is the way most spyware gets installed on users' systems.

Seriously, are you saying that wallpaper downloads are the root of most
spyware? I'm not trying to be a smartass it's a serious question. FYI I
never have any spyware but I also never download free wallpaper or
screensavers. Just wondering.

Not necessarily. But it can be one of the culprits. Anything
downloaded for free from too-good-to-be-true sites is
automatically suspect in my eyes.

Most scams do tweak that "human get-something-for-nothing-gene"
