forget administrator password

i have only one user of WinXP(only administrator)
and
forget my password.
i think solve this problem out of windows,before start it
maybe in the prompt
but i don't know exactlly
please help me

The bottom line is that you're going to have to do some work. If the suggestions in the previous link don't work for you, you'll have to break into your operating system.

Download the ISO image from the bottom of the following web-page:
http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/bootdisk.html

You'll need to burn that ISO image to CD-R media. You can use the following command-line tool to do that:
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/...windowsserv/2003/all/techref/en-us/cdburn.asp

You can get this tool by downloading the Windows 2003 Resource Kit:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...69-57ff-4ae7-96ee-b18c4790cffd&displaylang=en

Once that is installed, you can use the following command to burn the ISO image from the c:\temp folder to your CD-R media:

cdburn.exe d: C:\temp\cd041205.iso -speed max -imagehaspostgap

Once that is done, you can boot your XP (lost password) machine on that CD and follow the instructions. The default selections really do work for 99% of all XP systems.

Boot the computer in safe mode, then go to user accounts, create a new user
(w/ admin rights), then change the main Administrator password etc.
