i am using Office 2003 on a windows xp pc

1. In Outlook my inbox and outbox are each roughly 1.5 Gig in size .
Is there an issue with having boxes of this size ?
i do auto archive over 2 years old i think but would rather keep most emails
in an easily assessible state .

2 . my pc is set to UK english as is Word but for some reason i think that
outlook is working in USA english how do i make the change permanent . i
thought i had done this before but wondered if outlook had slide back to a
default ?

many thanks Steve

Hi Steven,

the new Outlook PST file format (Unicode) could have 20GB as minimum sice.

A customer of us use a shared 400GB(!) PST file and I heard that the PST
could grow up to 3,9TB but I don´t know if this is a

Microsoft write on this page, that the Outlook 2007 PST is developed for a
size of 20GB.
"The .pst file has a different format and folder size limit in Outlook
2003:"

How to check the language settings?

I think it is in the contral panel ("Start/settings/Control Panel/Regions
and Language settings"), but I am not 100% sure.
