Floppy to USB?

I have a couple of the external cases you buy where you can put in a hard
drive or CD-ROM drive and it converts it to make an external USB drive.
Does anyone know of the same thing but will convert a floppy-type drive to
USB? I know it sounds weird, but I want to be able to use an old HP T1000
tape drive that way - it hooked up to a floppy controller. I have listed
this old tape drive along with about 12 tapes on ebay twice and couldn't get
even $1 for it so I thought I'd try to use it rather than throw it away...

I thought I had found this from a company in Taiwan but their US rep shipped
me the incorrect item twice so I gave up on them.

Thanks for any help!
