fixmbr

Anyone know the validity of that fixmbr warning that you may not be able to access your partions after you run fixmbr? I hear someplaces that it has happened to people and other places tell me that I can ignore it.


I swear, linux should be burned...............

Hi Greg,

It depends on the conditions of your computer.
I have used fixmbr repeatedly and with no problems whatsoever.

If you're unsure, better do a full back-up of all your information in
the partition before you use this command.
