please i have two computers have upgraded to win xp prof now firewire wont work going grey someone please hel

Are the firewire port part of the mobo, or are they add-in
cards?

Do the firewire ports show under the device manager? If so,
try updating the drivers using the device manager. If that
doesn't work, just delete the firewire ports and reboot,
they should be detected as new hardware and the correct
drivers installed.
