files & settings transfer problem

for some reason files & settings transfer wizard doesn't see the backup .dat
files that it created...
is there another utility i can use to extract all those files?

The .DAT file within the USMT2.UNC folder should be named IMG00001.DAT
There should also be a file named "status". If you have these two files within
the USMT2.UNC folder, you should only browse to the USMT2.UNC folder
when using the wizard.

You need to browse to the location of the "USMT2.UNC" folder.
For example, my location is: D:\Old Computer Files\Transfers\USMT2.UNC

I've just used this utility for the first time and like the other person, get
an error message after I insert Disk #1. The error pops back disk not #1 or
something like that. I look at the disk using explore and there's only one
file there USMT2.dat. How do I open that file to look for the USMT2.UNC? I'm
really frustrated with this utility!
