Favorites on start menu

When I try to open a web page using Favorites on the start
menu, I get a message "Can't find program.exe" where is
this program supposed to be?

Randal,

Pls mention the Operating System used. Meanwhile, try this:

Click Start/Run and type REGSVR32 /i SHDOCVW

If that does not help, open Internet Options, Programs tab.
Choose "Reset Web Settings".
