Each time a user logs in, their own copy of zonealarm and
NAV starts. Is there a way for all users to share one copy?

I believe this is contributing to the poor performance of
my xp machine. I have a fast machine with 384mb of memory
and 40gb of disk.

thanks,
jd

No, each user is not running their own copy of Zone Alarm and NAV. These run
as "services" which are background tasks that run all the time regardless of
how many people are logged in, and still run even if nobody is logged in!

The item you see running for each user, in the system tray, is a relateively
tiny little program that allows each user to interact with these services.
It isn't anything to worry about in terms of resources used.
