Factory Mode

I have a Windows XP computer. New, clone. 1 of 3 USB flash drive works on
this computer. They are all different brands. The one that works does not
bring up the dialogue when loading. In searching around, the event viewer
tells me that the User Interface dialogues have been suppressed in factory
mode. I guess that explains whey the dialogue doesn't show, but I haven't a
clue how to enable them. Also, I tried to use add new hardware to get the
others to load, but it tells me that other hardware is installing and that
only one piece of hardware can be loaded at a time. I can understand that,
but have no idea what other hardware thinks its loading. I did a Google
search on the event message and found one other person who had similar
symptoms, but no answers. Anyone with a clue, I appreciate your help.

The sysprep folder that was used to prepare the shipment for delivery was
still on the hard drive. I ran sysprep, then selected "reseal". You have to
re-enter product key and reactivate during the process. When it said I was
complete, I clicked finish. It took almost an hour for the first reboot to
complete. I resisted the temptation to intervene. Once the restart was
complete, my jump drives all worked, the dialogs worked, and subsequent
restarts were normal.
