now for the last couple of days i keep getting the
following error whenever i try to open windows explorer
" Explorer.exe - Application error The aplication failed
to intialize (0xc0000006).
click OK to terminate the application."
firstly i cannot get into my normal desktop the second i
login i get this error & the machine freezes. so i cannot
go to my computers n run the scan as adviced by u. also i
donot have an internet connection at home so i cannot Go
to: http://sarc.com/. i did download the adaware tool at
work but as i cannot get to my normal desktop i cannot
install the same.
i tried starting my machine in the safe mode but i get the
same error on logon.
i started the machine with the cd boot n under recovery
console i ran chkdsk \r.........after which i got a report
saying it corrected 1 or more errors. but on restart i get
the same error.
any advice on what i must try next?
is there a way to repair the entire registry & system
files without having to format etc.
anticipating your advice at the earliest.
