Excel VBA – Editor window opens after program runs

I am new to programming in VBA, so I would appreciate any help you can give me.I wrote a Macro that works successfully until the end of the program, and then the editor window opens for no apparent reason. On a button click, the Macro alerts the user that the file will be removed… On clicking OK; the file name is changed and saved to a different folder, specific cells are cleared and the file is saved with the original name, then the editor window opens. It makes me nervous that someone can get in there and change the program. I tried Password Protecting (not sure I did this correctly) without success.
