We will have to guess exactly what the "error message" says and supply
an answer given limited information.

If you are seeing "Cannot find...", "Could not run...", "Error
loading... or "specific module could not be found" messages when
Windows restarts, it is usually related to malicious software that was
set to run at startup but has been deleted by some scanning software.

Windows is trying to load this file but cannot locate it since the
file was mostly likely removed during an scan for malicious software.
However, an associated orphaned registry entry remains and is telling
Windows to load the file when you boot up.

Since the file no longer exists, Windows will display an error
message. You need to remove this registry entry so Windows stops
searching for the file when it loads.

To resolve this, download and install Autoruns, search for the related
entry and then delete it.

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

Launch Autoruns.exe and wait for it to finish populating the list of
entries.

When it is done scanning, it will say Ready at the bottom.

Scroll through the list and look for a startup entry related to the
file(s) in the error message.

Right-click on the entry and choose delete.

Reboot your computer and see if the startup error returns.

Since you are now or were infected. I also suggest the following:

Perform some scans for malicious software first, then fix any
remaining issues:

Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware
detection programs:

Malwarebytes (MBAM): http://malwarebytes.org/
SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/

They can be uninstalled later if desired.

What is the *verbatim* error message?

Please provide the exact verbatim text of the error messages.

Hi
thank you for your reply
the window is called RUNDLL
the error message is
Error loading C:\......clelvcpa.dll
the specified module could not be found

This is probably the result of some virus/malware infection that your virus
scanner removed. You now have a program in your startup list that attempts
to invoke clelvcpa.dll, even though the file no longer exists. Click Start /
Run, then type msconfig.exe to launch the System Configuration Utility.
Untick one or two items at a time under the Startup tab, then reboot until
you have isolated the culprit. Do NOT untick the virus scanner tasks!

You need to do what Jose said yesterday.

Read my reply again. I wrote that the error message is the result of an
infection that your scanner *removed*. In other words, the infection is no
longer there and your malwarebytes and superantispyware will *not* detect
anything! You now need to use the recipe I gave you to prevent the program
from starting that causes the error message. That program is not infected
but it is a nuisance.

point taken...i have gone through msconfig and untick all the entries one at
a time but the error messages still come up. any more suggestions?

Click Start, Run, type REGEDIT, click OK. Press the Home key, press F3,
type the name of the file into the search pane. Click "Find Next", and
when located, delete the reference to the file. Press F3 to continue
the search.

You can click File, Export, and save the entry to the Desktop. If you
remove it and there's a problem, double-click the .reg file you exported
to the Desktop and it'll be added to the registry again. You can create
a restore point before editing the registry too.

problem solved ...thanks for your help

If the message does not appear in Safe Mode then it is highly likely that it
is generated by an item under the Startup tab or under the Services tab.
Physically disconnect your machine from the Internet, then untick all items
under the Startup tab. If still unsuccessful, untick all non-Microsoft items
under the Services tab (note the "Hide Microsoft Services" tick box!).
