I hope someone can help me. I run Nascar 2003 game
online, after a while I get the message "10035 error on
network device". Can anyone tell me what this means and
how do I solve the problem as it keeps crashing my game.

I have Windows XP, broadband modem connection which works
fine on everything else. I have tried re-installing game
and have made sure all drivers etc are the latest version.

Hope some one can help me.

Regards

Hi David,

Sounds like there's a firewall in your home router or DSL Modem:

Call the tech support for that unit, and ask them to either setup a
"DMZ" (De-Militarized Zone which means the firewall is disabled)
to bypass the built-in firewall, or open the necessary ports in the
equipment with you... Here's the List of all Ports used by Zone
and DX Games: http://mvps.org/nibblesnbits/PortRoute.html#ports
(See your router's manual or that website for self help instructions)

Note: For online protection, turn on the Windows XP firewall. :-)
