Error Code 0x8007007e (Can't download mail in Outlook)

Have Office 2000. Recently upgraded to XP Pro form
98SE. Now my mail won't download form my Pop3 SMPT
server. The error code seems to be from a Service Pack
issue with Windows 2000. Ideas?

That's a "module not found" error, and I really don't know what that means.
Did you try re-installing Office after you'd done the XP upgrade?

I had the same problem. I fixed it by replacing the missing %systemroot%\system32\msoert2.dll file.
