Down loaded Microsoft files to stop hackers from getting
into Windows XP. E-mails with attachments, both old and
new but not all, have the following message where the
attachment is: OE Removed access to the following unsafe
attachments in your mail: Fw_.eml. It even did it to an
attachment I received in 1999. What's happened? Thanks
to anyone who helps. Bob K

Try this, Open outlook express, tools, options, security,
remove the check from the box that says do not allow
attachments to be opened click apply , ok the close
Outlook express and reopen it,,problem should be solved,
you may also change security to internet zone at same
time as removing the check

I'm having the same problem. Outlook is automatically removing attachments. I can't find a command to stop this. Any help would be appreciated!

Outlook Express Tools/Options menu. Uncheck the 4th box on
the security tab.

Office Outlook has a list of file extensions that are
blocked, just look in the upper right corner of the Outlook
page for the help search field and enter "block attachments"

In OE click Tools, Options, Security and uncheck the box that says "Do not
allow attachments...."
