dwwin.exe DLL Error on Shutdown

When I shut down XP Home I get the error
message: "dwwin.exe DLL Failed to Initialize. Application
failed to initialize because of shutdown." That is on
the screen for about 5 seconds, then the machine shuts
down normally. This started about 6 months ago. Has
anyone else seen this?
