dvd drive error

when i go to play dvd in drive it wont play a message
comes up saying i/o error.i uninstalled dvd player
program and reinstalled it and it worked but when i went
back to it nothing worked again anyone help?

Paul, rt click on MyComputer>Select Properties>Hardware>Device Manager.
Uninstall the DVD drive. Remove the
Software. Restart and reinstall the Software.
